r Everyday Life course has given me an opportunity to weave impactful coac
hing methodologies into my daily work. The practice of asking powerful que
stions helps me become a better listener\, encourage effective problem sol
ving\, and honor the agency of the stakeholders with whom I work. I have s
een a difference in the effectiveness of my daily conversations since taki
ng the course. You don’t have to be a certified coach to start utilizing
these useful techniques and mindsets!" -- Kaleb Sutherland\n"Coaching for
Everyday Life lifted up many of the key elements that are vital in a coac
hing conversation: Establishing the agreement\, listening actively\, utili
zing powerful questioning\, evoking awareness\, and facilitating discovery
. It encouraged me to continue having the coaching posture as my 'default
setting' as I engage people in conversation throughout the day. This means
being curious about the person and the situations in which they find them
selves. The seminar reminded me how helpful a brief 10-15 minute conversat
ion can be in helping a person find their way forward\, especially if they
’re open to being coached. The key for me is asking the other person if
they're open to being coached on a topic they're struggling with. Short of
that\, actively listening and powerful questioning can still be of great
benefit. Your challenge to look for daily opportunities to coach others re
minds me to be more aware of the conversations I engage in." -- Charlie Zi
