yday Life course has given me an opportunity to weave impactful coaching m
ethodologies into my daily work. The practice of asking powerful questions
helps me become a better listener\, encourage effective problem solving\,
and honor the agency of the stakeholders with whom I work. I have seen a
difference in the effectiveness of my daily conversations since taking the
course. You don’t have to be a certified coach to start utilizing these
useful techniques and mindsets!" -- Kaleb Sutherland\n"Coaching for Every
day Life lifted up many of the key elements that are vital in a coaching c
onversation: Establishing the agreement\, listening actively\, utilizing p
owerful questioning\, evoking awareness\, and facilitating discovery. It e
ncouraged me to continue having the coaching posture as my 'default settin
g' as I engage people in conversation throughout the day. This means being
curious about the person and the situations in which they find themselves
. The seminar reminded me how helpful a brief 10-15 minute conversation ca
n be in helping a person find their way forward\, especially if they’re
open to being coached. The key for me is asking the other person if they'r
e open to being coached on a topic they're struggling with. Short of that\
, actively listening and powerful questioning can still be of great benefi
 t. Your challenge to look for daily opportunities to coach others reminds
me to be more aware of the conversations I engage in." -- Charlie Zimmerma
