g for Everyday Life course has given me an opportunity to weave impactful
coaching methodologies into my daily work. The practice of asking powerful
questions helps me become a better listener\, encourage effective problem
solving\, and honor the agency of the stakeholders with whom I work. I ha
ve seen a difference in the effectiveness of my daily conversations since
taking the course. You don’t have to be a certified coach to start utili
zing these useful techniques and mindsets!" -- Kaleb Sutherland\n"Coaching
for Everyday Life lifted up many of the key elements that are vital in a
coaching conversation: Establishing the agreement\, listening actively\, u
tilizing powerful questioning\, evoking awareness\, and facilitating disco
very. It encouraged me to continue having the coaching posture as my 'defa
ult setting' as I engage people in conversation throughout the day. This m
eans being curious about the person and the situations in which they find
themselves. The seminar reminded me how helpful a brief 10-15 minute conve
rsation can be in helping a person find their way forward\, especially if
they’re open to being coached. The key for me is asking the other person
if they're open to being coached on a topic they're struggling with. Shor
t of that\, actively listening and powerful questioning can still be of gr
eat benefit. Your challenge to look for daily opportunities to coach other
s reminds me to be more aware of the conversations I engage in." -- Charli
