DESCRIPTION:This faith-based Basic Skills Coach Training equips you to jour
 ney with others\, help them discern where God is calling them\, and suppor
 t their own empowerment to take meaningful action. You will learn through 
 observation and a variety of examples and resources\, as well as through p
 ractice in real coaching conversations in live labs\, receiving feedback a
 nd building confidence as you go. You will develop core coaching competenc
 ies that help you accompany others with curiosity\, compassion\, and trust
  in the Holy Spirit’s movement.\nThis coaching skills training consists 
 of nine (9) two-hour sessions and is accredited by the International Coach
 ing Federation (ICF).\nThursdays -- April 9 - June 4\n7am-9am Hawaii | 8am
 -10am Alaska | 9am-11am Pacific | 10am-12noon Mountain | 11am-1pm Central 
 | 12noon-2pm Eastern | 1pm-3pm Atlantic\n(Time zones may vary with Dayligh
 t Saving Time. We do our best to include other time zones as we understand
  them to be. Please double-check your time zone against the Central time n

 8\, June 4\nTriad dates (REQUIRED attendance): May 7\, May 28\, and June 4
 \nRequired attendance for all three "live" triad sessions\, which are the
  fifth\, eighth\, and ninth sessions. Participants must attend all nine (
 9) online sessions in full\; outside of the triads\, participants can miss
  attending up to two (2) sessions "live" and catch up by watching a record
 ing and answering written questions prior to the next class.\nRequired pre
 -work includes completing the ELCA Coach Training Application* (see docu
 ment linked below) and watching a few short videos (these will be sent to
  you after we receive your paid registration and about one week prior to t
 he start of training). Full instructions will be sent with the welcome le
 tter.\nCost = $375 per student\nTrainer(s) = Beth Anderson\, ACC\, and Son
 ja Ware\, PCC\nThere is a minimum of 6 students required to hold a trainin
 g\, and there will be a limit of 30 students per training.\n*** After rece
 iving the completed application\, ELCA Coaching Ministry will contact the 
 applicant's synod office for affirmation. After our ministry receives affi
 rmation from the synod office\, the applicant will receive the link to reg
 ister and pay. (In an ideal world\, we would have at least one month of le
 ad time between the submission of your application and the start of traini
 ng. As long as you submit in enough time for your synod bishop\, DEM\, and
 /or coach coordinator to respond\, we will do everything we can to process
