DESCRIPTION:This faith-based Basic Skills Coach Training equips you to jour
 ney with others\, help them discern where God is calling them\, and suppor
 t their own empowerment to take meaningful action. You will learn through 
 observation and a variety of examples and resources\, as well as through p
 ractice in real coaching conversations in live labs\, receiving feedback a
 nd building confidence as you go. You will develop core coaching competenc
 ies that help you accompany others with curiosity\, compassion\, and trust
  in the Holy Spirit’s movement.\nThis coaching skills training consists 
 of nine (9) two-hour sessions and is accredited by the International Coac
 hing Federation (ICF).\nTuesdays -- June 2 - July 28\n8am-10am Hawaii | 9a
 m-11am Alaska | 10am-12noon Pacific | 11am-1pm Mountain | 12noon-2pm Centr
 al | 1pm-3pm Eastern | 2-4pm Atlantic\n(Time zones may vary with Daylight 
 Saving Time. We do our best to include other time zones as we understand t

 the dates for this training: June 2\, 9\, 16\, 23\, 30\, July 7\, 14\, 21\
 , 28\nTriad dates (REQUIRED attendance): June 30\, July 21\, AND July 28\n
 Required attendance for all three "live" triad sessions\, which are the f
 ifth\, eighth\, and ninth sessions. Participants must attend all nine (9)
  online sessions in full\; outside of the triads\, participants can miss a
 ttending up to two (2) sessions "live" and catch up by watching a recordin
 g and answering written questions\, ideally prior to the next class.\nRequ
 ired pre-work includes completing the ELCA Coach Training Application* (
 see document linked below) and watching a few short videos (these will be
  sent about one week prior to the start of training). Full instructions wi
 ll be sent with the welcome letter.\nCost = $375 per student\nTrainer(s) =
  TBA\nThere is a minimum of 6 students required to hold a training\, and t
 here will be a limit of 18 students per training.\n*** After receiving the
  completed application\, ELCA Coaching Ministry will contact the applicant
 's synod office for affirmation. After our ministry receives affirmation f
 rom the synod office\, the applicant will receive the link to register and
  pay. (In an ideal world\, we would have at least one month of lead time b
 etween the submission of your application and the start of training. As lo
 ng as you submit in enough time for your synod bishop\, DEM\, and/or coach
  coordinator to respond\, we will do everything we can to process your app
