DESCRIPTION:This faith-based Basic Skills Coach Training equips you to jour
 ney with others\, help them discern where God is calling them\, and suppor
 t their own empowerment to take meaningful action. You will learn through 
 observation and a variety of examples and resources\, as well as through p
 ractice in real coaching conversations in live labs\, receiving feedback a
 nd building confidence as you go. You will develop core coaching competenc
 ies that help you accompany others with curiosity\, compassion\, and trust
  in the Holy Spirit’s movement.\nThis coaching skills training consists 
 of nine (9) two-hour sessions and is accredited by the International Coach
 ing Federation (ICF).\nWednesdays -- June 2 - July 28\n12:30pm-2:30pm Paci
 fic | 1:30pm-3:30pm Mountain | 2:30pm-4:30pm Central | 3:30pm-5:30pm Easte
 rn\n(Time zones may vary with Daylight Saving Time. We do our best to incl

 page are in Central time.)\nA list of the dates for this training: June 2\
 , 9\, 16\, 23\, 30\, July 7\, 14\, 21\, 28\nTriad dates (REQUIRED attendan
 ce): June 30\, July 21\, and July 28\nRequired attendance for all three "
 live" triad sessions\, which are the fifth\, eighth\, and ninth sessions.
  Participants must attend all nine (9) online sessions in full\; outside 
 of the triads\, participants can miss attending up to two (2) sessions "li
 ve" and catch up by watching a recording and answering written questions p
 rior to the next class.\nRequired pre-work includes completing the ELCA 
 Coach Training Application (see document linked below) and watching a few
  short videos (these will be sent to you after we receive your paid regist
 ration and about one week prior to the start of training). Full instructi
 ons will be sent with the welcome letter.\nCost = $375 per student\nTraine
 r(s) = TBA\nThere is a minimum of 6 students required to hold a training\,
  and there will be a limit of 18 students per training.\n*** After receivi
 ng the completed application\, ELCA Coaching Ministry will contact the app
 licant's synod office for affirmation. After our ministry receives affirma
 tion from the synod office\, the applicant will receive the link to regist
 er and pay. (In an ideal world\, we would have at least one month of lead 
 time between the submission of your application and the start of training.
  As long as you submit in enough time for your synod bishop\, DEM\, and/or
  coach coordinator to respond\, we will do everything we can to process yo
