Creating Cultures of Coaching cohort meets on a regular basis to share ideas, best practices, and mentor coaching to maximize ministry effectiveness in synods. This is a space for Synod Coach Coordinators, DEMs, Assistants to the Bishop, and any other leader responsible for coaching on a synod level.

Please carefully read the full details of this multi-session event usually scheduled monthly and running for the majority of the year. (Dates and times for this cohort will be determined by the availability of the trainers and registered participants.)

Nine 1-hour group mentoring sessions with trained coaches and other synod leaders:

  • Discuss best practices in creating a culture of coaching in your synod and building a practice of coaching with your leaders and ministry 
  • Receive a resource kit and mentor support in unpacking each tool 
  • Work at your own pace and learn from others 
  • Create a system and platform for coaching that will fit the unique needs of your synod and its leaders 

Provided FREE by ELCA’s Coaching Ministry Team. Advance registration required.

Conversations will begin in early 2024. Dates and times for the following months will depend on registered participants. Every effort will be made to accommodate the schedules of those who want to join.
