This training prepares students to be credentialed as International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Life Coaches AND to be certified as Coaching at End of Life (CEOL) Grief and End of Life Coaches. A coach approach to grief, loss, and end of life (including living losses and transitions) is taught in conjunction with the ICF markers for the PCC credential. This training also prepares students to be credentialed as ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Life Coaches, if desired prior to applying for the PCC credential.
Cost per participant = $3,750 (for ELCA Coaches only – regular CEOL pricing is $6,790 – valued at $11,000+)
One payment plan option (split in 3 payments) is available if you register at least 2 months prior to the start date via the registration link. If you need some other payment plan option, please email info@elcacoaching.org to negotiate that. Please note that one of the requirements to graduate is to be paid in full before you receive your certificates of completion.
Lead Trainer: Jason O'Neill, PCC
Completion of the ELCA Segment 1 Basic Skills Coach training (or comparable ICF-accredited training) is required before taking this PCC-level training.
This course contains 142+ hours of training, field work, peer coaching, and coaching practice in class, PLUS required mentor coaching and follow-up work. Classes run for approximately 9 months (with several weeks off to give breaks between sections and for holidays), then the mentor coaching and follow-up work are on your own timeframe.
Minimum of 6 students required to hold this training.
There are at least FIVE distinct advantages to this training via the ELCA and Coaching at End of Life:
1) You receive a tremendous discount in the registration price of similar training elsewhere.
2) You will not need to submit a recording to the ICF when you submit your application for your PCC credential.
3) This makes the application process with the ICF so much quicker.
4) The application fee to the ICF is lower since Coaching at End of Life faculty does the work of reviewing rather than the ICF.
5) This training also prepares you to be certified as a Grief and End of Life Coach.
