My expertise is in the area of adaptive leadership, coaching, and training leaders in coaching skills to empower the people around them. I have over thirty years of experience in congregational leadership in a variety of institutions ranging from mission-start and established congregations, judicatory systems, and higher education. I have my ACC credentialing with the International Coaching Federation, and have trained with the Global Team Coaching Institute, Red Team Thinking, ADD Coaching Academy, and Positive Intelligence.
As a coach, I partner with nonprofit leaders and teams to reconnect to and define their mission in changing contexts using reflective coaching questions, inventories, and tools to explore possibilities. Whether I’m working with an individual or a team, I believe that all of us are parts of systems as well as defined individuals. Knowing how these systems work while being clear on our individual roles and boundaries are key for healthy organizations and leadership.
Mission: Cultivating Your Calling
Vision: Nobody Journeys Alone
Coaches connect dreams to concrete actions that create change for individuals and congregations.
The ELCA's offices are located on the ancestral homelands of the Peoria, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Myaamia (Miami), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux), Hoocąk (Ho-Chunk), and Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo) tribal nations. We give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial.
