Jim sees coaching as a creative and collaborative process where the client sets the direction and the pace and the coach has the honor of accompanying and witnessing a person explore, discover and unleash their potential
Jim has been coaching since 2016. He has coached individuls, groups and teams In stewardship, pastoral and non-profit leadership, grief and loss. He particularly revels in coaching creatives as they wander and wonder through their next project. Jim holds an ACC credential from the ICF, ELCA Stewardship certification, and Grief coaching certification.
Jim has served as a rostered minister of Word and Sacrament and parish pastor for more than 20 years. He holds a doctor of ministry in pastoral care and counseling, and his DMin project worked to formulate a pastoral response to financial distress.
