Coaching combines two joys of mine: Working one on one and diving deep into practical, relational, and spiritual matters.
As an ELCA clergyperson, I have served full time, part time, solo, and associate positions, in rural, small-town, and urban congregations, and on synod staff. I am steeped in the dynamics ministry leaders encounter and the cultural shifts that affect us all.
Certified with ICF since 2021, I coach rostered and lay leaders, as well as for Faithful Innovations and Awaken Dane in Wisconsin, where I have led congregations in connecting with their neighbors. After raising our neurodivergent sons, I began coaching people who are neurodivergent or live or work with someone who is. Neurodivergence refers to those whose brains work differently, and we need people whose brains work differently now more than ever!
I also coach people in their grief. In 2018, my mother died unexpectedly at age 79, and in 2022, my brother died of suicide. Grief is a painful yet sacred experience that is helped through sharing.
I believe you have the wisdom you need to navigate life’s challenges and, as a coach, I will create space for you and ask deep questions as you explore these challenges.
Mission: Cultivating Your Calling
Vision: Nobody Journeys Alone
Coaches connect dreams to concrete actions that create change for individuals and congregations.
The ELCA's offices are located on the ancestral homelands of the Peoria, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Myaamia (Miami), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux), Hoocąk (Ho-Chunk), and Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo) tribal nations. We give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial.
