Being on the receiving end of coaching was transformational for me. My relationship with my coach allowed me to first name, then make changes that shifted the direction of my life and ministry. I was trained as an ELCA Level I coach in 2018 and have been shaped in my ministry since then coaching and working as the Director for Evangelical Mission in the Montana Synod. Although I am retired from active ministry, I am a coach for Synod Hunger leaders around the ELCA and for congregations involved in the Congregational Lead Initiative. I also am a trainer for Excellence in Leadership (a non-profit organized to train courageous, resilient and faithful lay and clergy leaders) I served in small town and rural congregations in Minnesota and Montana and am committed to walking with people to encourage adaptive changes in life and ministry. I believe that coaching is a resource that allows a person to make shifts and plan steps for a transformed life. I live in Livingston, Montana with my husband, standard poodle and cat.
Mission: Cultivating Your Calling
Vision: Nobody Journeys Alone
Coaches connect dreams to concrete actions that create change for individuals and congregations.
The ELCA's offices are located on the ancestral homelands of the Peoria, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Myaamia (Miami), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux), Hoocąk (Ho-Chunk), and Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo) tribal nations. We give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial.
