Tom Smith draws upon his corporate and ministry background to help clients flourish by subduing anxiety, cultivating confidence, and boosting happiness. His coaching style blends neuroscience with Christian faith, creating a space of trust and transformation. Overcoming his own struggles with anxiety, Tom candidly shares, “I once struggled with social anxiety. I limited my possibilities because of concern over what others thought of me. Now, anxious thoughts no longer prevent me from pursuing my values.”
Combining the remarkable power of neuroplasticity with support from a compassionate coach, Tom went on to achieve notable roles like Professional Fire Protection Engineer, Commercial Property Casualty Underwriter, Reinsurance Manager for a fortune 500 commercial lines insurer, certified Youth and Family Minister, ordained pastor in the ELCA, a Brain Science certified coach, and a professional certified life coach with the International Coaching Federation. He serves on the professional development team for ICF-Wisconsin and as a coach for various organizations.
Experiencing a call to serve others through coaching, Tom overcame imposterism and doubt to found Ridgeview Coaching LLC in 2022 (www.ridgeviewcoaching.org).
Outside of coaching, Tom enjoys RVing with his family and writing a science fiction novel focused on themes of hope and resilience. His holistic approach to coaching reflects his broader commitment to uplifting and inspiring others, making him a valuable resource for personal growth and career advancement.
