Global Cultural Competency (Part 1)
Build a strong foundation in cultural competency and discover how to coach diverse populations with confidence. In this two-hour workshop, you’ll explore key cultural concepts, reflect on your own assumptions, and gain practical tools to engage effectively across cultural differences. This workshop introduces foundational concepts related to cultural competency in coaching. Participants will learn to differentiate between cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity; demonstrate personal cultural proficiency; identify the six stages of cultural competency; and define intercultural communication and its role in effective coaching practice.

Cultural humility isn’t a destination — it’s a lifelong commitment to self-reflection, openness, and awareness of bias. In this two-hour workshop, you’ll examine how your own social identities impact coaching relationships, explore strategies for interrupting ethnocentrism, and practice centering your client’s lived experience as the source of expertise. Sessions are offered monthly on the fourth Thursday (except for November, when meeting on the third Thursday) at 12 Noon Eastern. Choose a date that works for you and register today.
Allyship in Coaching
Step into the role of a true coaching ally. In just two hours, you’ll develop an inclusive coaching philosophy, learn how to adapt group coaching with an ally’s mindset, and identify tools and resources to continue your growth. Walk away with practical strategies you can use immediately to create more equitable and inclusive coaching experiences. This session is offered quarterly on the Second Wednesday at 11:00am Eastern.
