As the 2021 Women’s History Month comes to an end, Pastor Lucille “CeCee” Mills draws participants into a conversation about Women in Ministry through the lens of faith, history, and the current reality. Come learn, share, and celebrate. How have women been omitted or misrepresented? How has gender identity given space and opportunity for authentic lives? How can you be an interrupter of systemic issues, offensive language, and/or offensive behavior?

The Rev. Lucille “CeCee” Mills grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She completed her seminary studies at The Lutheran Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Ordained in 2004, she served her first ten years of ministry in the Virginia Synod. Since then, Pastor Mills has served several congregations as an interim in the North Carolina Synod while also serving as an Associate Program Director for African Descent Ministries in the ELCA Churchwide Offices for five years. She currently serves as the Associate Director for Evangelical Mission in the North Carolina Synod.
